This Privacy Policy explains how Edison Aerospace, Inc. ("Edison Aerospace," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit edison.aero, contact us, subscribe to updates, or request access to investor materials (collectively, the "Site"). It does not apply to information we process in an employment, contractor, supplier, or other offline relationship.

Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Contact and inquiry information: name, email address, inquiry topic, message, and any other information you choose to provide.
  • Newsletter information: email address and subscription preferences.
  • Investor-access information: name, email address, company or firm, role or title, email-verification status, and access history.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and interactions with the Site.
  • Cookie and similar-technology information: analytics identifiers, consent preference, and the investor-access session cookie described below.

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from the service providers that help us operate the Site. Please do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential, classified, export-controlled, or proprietary technical data through public Site forms.

How We Use Personal Information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site.
  • Respond to inquiries and evaluate potential business relationships.
  • Send requested updates and administer subscriptions.
  • Verify email addresses, evaluate investor-access requests, provide requested materials, and maintain access controls.
  • Measure Site use and performance after you consent to analytics.
  • Detect abuse, enforce our terms, comply with law, and protect our rights, users, and systems.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site stores your cookie-consent choice in your browser's local storage. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics is loaded and may use cookies or similar technologies to collect device and usage information. If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics through our consent tool. The investor area uses a strictly necessary, secure, HttpOnly session cookie to remember verified access for up to 30 days. Cloudflare and our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary technologies for security, traffic routing, and Site delivery.

You can accept or decline optional analytics in the Site's consent banner. To change a saved choice, clear the Site's cookies and local storage in your browser and reload the page. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may prevent investor access or other Site features from working. Because there is not yet a uniform industry response to browser “Do Not Track” signals, the Site does not respond to them. Where required by applicable law, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device that sends it. We do not currently use personal information for targeted advertising or engage in activity that requires such an opt-out.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following recipients for the purposes described above:

  • Infrastructure and security providers, including Hostinger and Cloudflare, which host, deliver, protect, and log use of the Site.
  • Analytics providers, including Google Analytics, when you consent to optional analytics.
  • Communications and business-system providers, including Resend for investor verification and notification emails and VUGA Group's CRM for contact, newsletter, and verified investor requests.
  • Professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to obtain advice, comply with law or legal process, investigate misuse, or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Transaction participants in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against abuse. Retention depends on the nature of the information and our relationship with you. Investor verification links expire after approximately 30 minutes, investor-access sessions expire after up to 30 days, and server and security logs are retained according to the operational schedules of us and our providers. Contact, subscription, and verified investor records may be kept until they are no longer needed for the relevant relationship or you request deletion, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

Edison Aerospace is based in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of your personal information, correction, deletion, or portability; to withdraw consent; or to appeal our response to a request. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a request or appeal, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request,” or use our contact form. Describe your request and the email address associated with your information. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why where required.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information with your consent (for optional analytics and requested marketing), to take steps at your request or perform an agreement, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating a secure Site, responding to inquiries, evaluating business opportunities, and protecting our organization and users. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to websites and services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them.
