Edison Aerospace has filed the LionFish Autonomous Aerial Decoy Vehicle provisional patent at the United States Patent and Trademark Office — USPTO Application #64/065,196. The patent covers deployable signature-control elements and coordinated apparent-target-profile management for Group 2/3 UAS constellations operating in contested electromagnetic environments.

DARPA RFI SN-26-33 Response Submitted (Category 1 + Category 2)

Edison submitted its formal response to DARPA Tactical Technology Office RFI SN-26-33 covering both categories: LionFish autonomous Group 2/3 UAS constellation (Category 1) and the Edison Mobile Power & Command Hub for containerized launch/recovery/recharge operations (Category 2). Submission included full technical descriptions and patent-pending architecture details.

Lt. Col. Thomas De La Garza Signs Four SBIR Letters of Support

Dr. Thomas De La Garza, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired), 29-year U.S. Army veteran with SOCOM and NORAD Joint Operations Center experience, signed four formal Letters of Support endorsing Edison's SBIR engagements: DOD eSTOL ISR Platform, Navy UNCV, DARPA LionFish Autonomous Decoy Swarm, and USDA Autonomous eSTOL Agricultural Spray Vehicle.

University MOUs Submitted: NDSU, Grand Farm, Virginia Tech

Edison submitted Memoranda of Understanding to North Dakota State University (Dr. Leon Schumacher), the Grand Farm research initiative, and Virginia Tech (Dr. William Devenport) — proposing collaborative research on distributed-electric propulsion, BVLOS operations, and aerodynamic testing of the Heavy 1 airframe. Awaiting partner countersignatures.

Heavy 1 Airframe and Mobile Power & Command System Patents Filed

Edison Aerospace filed two foundational USPTO Provisional Applications: #63/667,697 for the distributed-electric eSTOL Heavy 1 airframe, and #63/739,060 for the Mobile Power & Command System — the trailer-form ground infrastructure that supports Heavy 1 operations from austere field locations.
